David designed this ocean inspired metal sculpture for a client. The ocean waves are composed of multiple pieces of metal, each with a different texture and color to simulate the complexities of the ocean. The sun rises or sets behind the dolphins. Though the dolphins are sculpted in metal, they have the appearance of being soft to the touch and realistic in their two toned color with a lighter underside. the dolphins appear to be swimming and jumping together.
